Fetch A Friend Adopt-a-thon

The 2016 event was a huge success which resulted in over 160 adoptions! In addition, surplus funds raised during the event were used to microchip 300 pets and spay/neuter an additional 120 pets for FREE. Services like these are crucial to reducing the homeless pet population. The Fetch A Friend goal is to fund additional FREE services for low-income and pets in need with any surplus funds from 2017.
Every pet adopted will go home with a free goody bag full of items to help get your new relationship off to a good start! There will be raffle opportunities, giveaways and two days of fun with local vendors and pet professionals.
This event is FREE and parking at the Expo Center is $5.
As a courtesy to the hundreds of animals already on site as well as for the safety and well-being of our guests, OWNED PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED AT THE EVENT. To schedule a meet-and-greet between your current pet and a potential adoptable pet, please contact the rescue directly.

Mingle with our Mutts is a great opportunity to meet with dog and cat organizations in your area of Ohio. Thousands of pure/mixed breed dogs, pups, cats & kittens are available every day in every county in Ohio.
Talk to experienced shelter staff and knowledgeable rescue people who can help match your family and lifestyle with the best breed, age and temperament of a dog or pup.
Before you go to a pet store or breeder, please consider helping us save the life of a pure or mixed breed dog/puppy or cat/kitten by adopting from a rescue or shelter.

LICKING COUNTY HUMANE SOCIETY

The Licking County Humane Society is now offering a low-cost Vaccination Clinic to help ensure the animals in Licking County are protected from diseases. Our low-cost Vaccination Clinics are held two to three days every month at LCHS, 825 Thornwood Dr. Heath, OH 43056. This is a walk-in clinic; no appointment is necessary. It operates on a first come, first serve basis, until the clinic for that day is full. Our clinics sometimes have high demand and it is necessary to close off further walk-ins toward the end of the clinic time. Please plan accordingly.

Feeding approximately 300 dogs and cats every day is costly, and we need your help! During Ohio Animal Week, we want to load the lobby with donated food for our animals. In order to keep their diet consistent and not cause intestinal upset, we use the same brand of dog and cat food as often as possible! Here’s what we urgently need:
- Purina, Iams or Eukanuba Dry Dog Food - small bites
- Purina Cat Chow
- Purina Kitten Chow
- Friskies, 9 Lives, or Fancy Feast pate
- Rabbit feed
- horse halters and lead ropes
- Horse Bedding
- Everyday supplies are always needed: Bleach, Snuggle Fabric Softener, OdoBan, paper towels, and trash bags (55 gallon and tall kitchen).

Mark your calendars for Bark in the Park at Cincinnati Reds Stadium! This dog friendly event will be held from 7:10pm to TBD on June 7, 2017 at Great American Ball Park - Cincinnati Reds Stadium in Cincinnati, OH, US. Admission is $30/human; $20/dog.
Take Fido out to the ball game! Fido is also welcome to join the pregame pet parade on the track surrounding the field! Parade will begin at approximately 6:30 p.m. Browse the pet expo and see dogs available for adoption from the SPCA Cincinnati in the Dog Zone.
